“Fast charging. Not great if off hours. Charging on Sunday a.m. Mall was unlocked thank God and so we were able to get in & use restroom. Mall entrance is to left of the Carhart wording on mall and bathroom is straight ahead once you walk in, located in back hallway next to the home economy. “A decent charging location. The chargers have riveted plastic shields installed that prevent anybody plugging in while parked on the south side of the chargers which is extremely inconvenient. I assume the reason is because of the rental trucks and mall parking on the other side of the chargers, but it means that any truck/trailer blocking the north side makes this entire location impossible to use. I don't like the decision (whoever that is) that installed the plastic barricades since it could end up being in the way of charging some day. Regardless, the amenities within walking distance are below average, and almost nothing is open late. While this stop is critical infrastructure for roadtripping on I94, it just isn't a great experience overall.” — Scott Thomas, 3 years ago
