“The FLO charging station in Jasper is in a very convenient location for EV travellers, especially if you are stopping in town during a road trip. One thing I really appreciated was having three charging stalls available, which helps reduce waiting compared to locations with only one charger. The biggest downside is that the chargers still operate at the older 50 kW charging speed, which honestly feels quite slow for today’s EV road travel needs. Modern EVs and long-distance travellers would really benefit from faster charging options, especially on important routes like Jasper. That said, the location itself is excellent. While charging, it is easy to walk to nearby restaurants, cafés, and shops to grab food and relax. The station is also right beside a beautiful walking trail, which made the charging stop much more enjoyable. As a dog owner, I especially appreciated that the trail can even take you to an off-leash dog area within about a 15-minute walk. It turned a long charging session into a relaxing break for both me and Alfie. Overall, great location and useful setup, but I really hope FLO upgrades these chargers to faster speeds in the future to better support EV road trippers.” — Siavash Rastegari, 3 months ago

“The one and only CCS charger spot in the area. Could not have visited Jasper in the Rivian without this facility because our campsite lacked any place to charge.
