“I rented an electric car, because that’s all the rental car company had left, so I’m new to finding the charging stations and how to charge a EV. On the day I went, one of the chargers had a communication problem, so it wouldn’t accept my payment card. The other charger was being used, so I didn’t want to wait for it. I went the next day, and used the working charger, and everything went smoothly. Me personally as a first time user of a EV, I wouldn’t recommend a EV, the wait times for an available charger can be annoying, payment communication errors with the chargers rendering the chargers useless, and the wait time once you’re connected and charging can be thirty minutes or longer. I would recommend a Hybrid if someone wants to go the EV route, but not be completely dependent on electric, because there’s not many charging stations once you leave the metropolitan areas, and all the negatives that I listed in the paragraph above.
