“Disappointing experience. I have charged my car at tens of Electrify America stations over the last 4 years. This one was opened up a few months ago and on paper looked very promising, with many 350 kW stalls and a few 150 kW. Nobody else was there last night, so I had the luxury of choosing my charger out of 10 available. To my surprise, charging speed never passed 47 kW, which is a small fraction of the 350 kW theoretically available. In the past I successfully charged my Ioniq 5 at 180-240 kW at other EA stations, and 90-140 KW os usually the norm at EA stations. The price per kW was 52 cents per kW, higher than even Tesla. Most Level 2 and Level 3 in this area price 1 kWh at 40-50 cents, some as low as 27 cents, and Evolve NY does not even ackowledge EA Pass+ membership, which would lower the price a little. The station is well located in a quiet and large parking lot, new, but charging speed and pricing make it far from competitive. Too bad.” — Roberto Sicconi, 8 months ago
