“I got to pay for not getting to charge my car. I plugged in, started the charge and then went into Planet Fitness. I emerged exactly 50 minutes later to find that, for mysterious reasons, the charger stopped charging at 60% instead of 80%. I was then fined 8 dollars for "idling". I was told that it is literally impossible that a charger error caused this and that I, for reasons that escape me, must have stopped the charge from the app. I am totally happy to pay the 8$ for the power I got. I am not happy to pay 8$ to have my time wasted. I also get the impression that this issue with the idle fees is considered more a feature than an issue with this company. “New chargers seem to work better than the old ones but it’s still far from perfect. The system wouldn’t recognize my EA account so I had to use a credit card which activated my charge without issue.
