“Shut down all the charging stations without a heads up. I was so lucky I went to charge earlier than I typically do so I didn’t get stranded and had enough charge to drive all the way to Florida city to charge. I’m sure others were stranded. Signs on the chargers and a notification on the app would have been nice. Also, having an idea of how long the chargers would be down would be nice too. Even when calling electrify they can’t tell you how long until they are back up. “Charging up at the Electrify America station in Key Largo was a fantastic experience! Located in the Publix shopping plaza off US1, this station boasts seven CCS ports and one CHAdeMO plug, offering plenty of options for EV drivers. I used one of the 150kW stalls, and it delivered full speed, quickly boosting my car up to 90%. The plug-and-charge function worked flawlessly, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. While the station is a bit of a walk from the Publix store, the convenience and speed of the charge more than made up for it. Whether you’re heading down to the Keys or just passing through, this station is a perfect pit stop to get back on the road in no time.
