“At Lulu Mall, Ernakulam, it is not correct to assume that everyone who arrives with an electric vehicle does so with the intention of spending time or money inside the mall. Increasing the charging station fees based on the assumption that all EV users come to utilise mall facilities is unfair. Charging an electric vehicle is often a necessity, not a choice. When pricing policies are framed on the presumption that visitors are there to shop or spend time, it places an undue burden on people who simply need essential access to charging. Across India, such practices reflect a growing trend where unavoidable services are treated as profit opportunities rather than public-oriented facilities. If this is to be considered business, then companies must follow uniform, transparent rules across locations, instead of altering policies based on assumptions or convenience. This issue goes beyond money. It highlights the mental stress and discomfort faced by ordinary people when they unknowingly encounter such situations. “Currently one of the best EV charging stations in kerala. The super charging station is located @ Lulu Mall cochin, with a seperate entrance from the NH 66 just before entering the lulu entrance. The area has got sufficient parking space for charging 4 vehicles at a time and an extra parking space for charged EV cars. Wow the EV chargers are amazingly fast. A boon to the facility is the valet parking that helps us to go shopping @ Lulu or have food or refreshments while charging is on. The vehicle will be parked to the parking near the charging station after the charging is over. They have got all the latest german machines available at the location making it the safest EV station in kerala for our costly EV cars.
