“Tried and failed to charge here. Both CCS plugs wouldn’t connect. Customer support tried to trouble shoot on the phone and said units were down and not operable currently. I’ve had terrible luck with WY EV Connect chargers and am 0/3 getting any to work! Failed in Pinedale, failed in Dubois and now failed in Lander. So very frustrating trying to travel with an EV in WY! Fortunately the Ford Dealership in Lander did have functioning CCS fast chargers that worked, so check them out instead of this seemingly very fickle charger!” — J. Michael King, 11 months ago

“I have used this charging station 4 times, and, when it charges, it does run at about 70kw. However. The cable holding the electric power cord is far too tight - it takes 2 men and a boy to stretch it to the receptacle on the vehicle, and when it is plugged in, it puts a lot of stress on the vehicle's receptacle. In addition, when there is snow or ice on the ground, it is almost impossible to pull the cord to the vehicle - there is not enough traction on the snow to pull the cord out, and a very real danger of falling on your face if you slip. On my last attempt to charge my vehicle, it would not accept my credit card (no card reader installed - you have to enter the information on the EV Connect application), which I had used successfully on previous charging sessions.” — Richard Phaneuf, 2 years ago
