The Chevron charger network went bankrupt, BC Hydro installed a lot of fast chargers, but have not connected them yet. They are progressing at a glacial pace. Petro Canada has started installing them, but also not connected. There’s one fastcharger at 711 next to the Mayfair mall, and a couple of fast chargers at car dealerships if you know where to look. “Very disappointing. I only needed a quick top up to complete my trip, should have been a 3 minute stop. I paid with the Flo app which the charger claims to support, and I was able to pay with it. My issue was that I could not stop the charging!! When I hit stop on the charger display, it required me to authorize the action on my phone through the shell app. So if you haven’t started the charging cycle and paid through the shell app, there is NO WAY TO STOP the charging early and you have to wait for it to get to 100% before you can unplug which is insane to me! I was able to get through to Flo customer support but they were unable to help as it isn’t their own charger. I then sat on the phone waiting for shell customer support to answer and they never did.
