What drivers have written

“This was one of the most frustrating charging experiences I’ve had with my Hyundai EV, and I would not recommend relying on this station if you actually need a dependable charge. From the moment I pulled in, the setup looked fine on the surface, but the actual experience quickly fell apart. The charger appeared functional, the screen turned on normally, and my car recognized it without issue. At first, I thought it would be a quick stop. That assumption turned out to be completely wrong. Once I plugged in, the charging speed was painfully slow. It started at what looked like a reasonable rate for maybe a minute or two, then immediately dropped off to a crawl. Instead of the expected steady fast charge, it felt like the system was barely pushing power at all. My Hyundai EV normally handles charging efficiently, but here it felt like it was being held back by either poor infrastructure or a malfunctioning unit. I checked the display multiple times thinking maybe something had paused or throttled incorrectly, but everything appeared “active” even though the actual energy transfer was extremely sluggish. Hours would have been required to reach even a moderate charge level, which defeats the entire purpose of stopping here. The waiting experience itself made it worse. There was no real indication that things would improve over time, so I was essentially stuck sitting there watching the percentage barely move. It created this slow, dragging sense of wasted time where leaving felt inconvenient, but staying felt pointless. To make matters more annoying, the surrounding area didn’t offer much comfort or distraction. There wasn’t much to do while waiting, so the entire experience became just sitting in the car watching a number change at a frustratingly slow pace. After a while, I realized continuing to charge here was not practical. I ended up cutting the session short and moving on rather than wasting even more time. Overall, this is a 1 star experience. The charger technically works, but in reality it performs so poorly that it is not useful for EV drivers who expect even basic charging speed. For a Hyundai EV or really any modern electric vehicle, this station is simply not reliable enough to depend on.” — Bobby Tight, 3 months ago
