“They rate limit hard and way too many people just leaving their cars charging for hours at peak times. Also routinely people think they can skip the "line". I wish they would implement a queue in the app (with proximity) and disallow line cutting. Also they have down stations all the time that don't show up in the app usually. “My experience was fine here. I went at 10:30pm and the charge was $0.56/ kW. Total for my 2025 Chevy Equinox EV to go from ~25% to 80% was ~$30 and took 30 min to charge. For the Equinox, this translates to around 200 miles and is very similar to the mileage to gas value of my 2023 Subaru Impreza. I like that they do not require an app download to use this charging station. They do charge a fee at the end. The charge for taxes and fees was around $3, which I've factored into the final total of $30. They do charge an upfront fee of $50, which is similar to how some gas stations work. I assume I'll get this reimbursed. If I have any problems with reimbursement, I will update my review. The fees and upfront charges are what knock it down one star for me, but I would still return here because it doesn't require an app download.” — Karissa C, a year ago

“The Electrify American chargers are great when they work. My husband is always trying to get a job with electrify America to fix the chargers. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to the charging station. The problem is it's like pulling teeth just to get a job with fixing these chargers. The sad part is they don't realize what they're missing!!! he can build a charging station with his knowledge.
