“An interesting experience. Just plug in and the charger works like a charm. Very fast charging indeed, I got 30% in 40 minutes. However, their fees per kwh are unbelievablly high! I paid 50% more than what I did at Tesla superchargers at peak hours. Around 60 cents per kwh makes a modern EV more expensive to drive than a gas SUV! “Compared to the only other EVgo fast charger nearby, this one may be much slower, but the experience has always been far more peaceful when I go here. The chargers are in the front of the lot, easily visible from the road, but away from the bulk of vehicles coming and going to shop groceries. Though there are only 2 chargers here, waiting to use one has been rare, and the majority of people I see charging here seem to mostly have small batteries that charge quickly, or are otherwise just topping up to maintain a mostly-full charge, as it's common to see them come and go within the same half hour. Most EV sedans can expect to take a full hour to charge from ~30% to ~90% here, but the quiet nature of the area helps make the time pass comfortably, especially if you have the advantages of a warm beverage, a cozy blanket, and a good book to read. I've only been charging here for the better part of a month, and while one of the screens appears to be damaged, so far I have yet to see a broken charger here.” — LiveWire937, a year ago
