“Could not get it to approve payment through the app. It's total BS because a gas car you can fill up at any shell gas station around the world. But for electric vehicles, Shell does not let you charge with the account from a different country (US in my case) and they force you to create an account for this country (Canada) with a different email address!!! So you can't use your email address that you used for the shell account in your country, you need a new email address. And they don't let you pay with Google Pay, and to add a credit card to the newly created account they need a phone number, but they require you to have a Canadian phone number. So if you are visiting Toronto with an EV you can't charge at Shell!. And because of this I will never charge at Shell in US either! It's total BS! Instead of making it easy to own an EV it seems that the world purposely tires to make it harder to live with an EV. “Decent price, decent speed, and no need to use the Shell App because it is integrated with other partners like ChargeHub. Cons: only pull in parking.
