“The Electrify America charging station in Mojave, CA is one of the better stops along this route. It’s tucked behind the hotel, which makes it feel a little more private and safe. The area is very clean, well-lit (thanks to both the charger lighting and extra area lighting), and has 7 charging stations available. It can get a bit crowded on Fridays, but I’ve never had a major wait. I used the Ford Plug & Pay app, and everything worked smoothly. There’s good cell signal, which helps for those relying on apps to check charger status or pay. I’m not sure about every connector type, but my experience was fast and reliable. The hotel has restrooms, and there are plenty of nearby snack spots, which is great if you’re road-tripping. There’s also a small walking area behind the hotel, perfect if you’ve got kids or pets and want to stretch your legs.
