“Charge states a charge rate of 7.7kWh. charged exactly 2 hours and put in 12.7609kWh, effective rate for two hours was 6.38kWh. had the charger output the advertised rate, I would have put in over 15kWh. Need to upgrade the charge rate or allow more time. I barely was able to add 17% to my Bolt. This charger is basically only good for plug in hybrid. Even with a small EV battery pack you would need 4 hours. Make limits 3 or 4 hours for business hours and 6 hours for off peak and weekends. People need to be able to fully charge. City of Montclair needs to better support people who have adopted EV's. Not charge $10 an hour for charger idle fees. These chargers also have very limited use. I drive by all the time and rarely see vehicle charging during business hours, even less on night's and weekend. It's an under utilized city resource. Before you say these are operated by the vendor, they are not, the standard/rates is set by the city. Show me the contract to prove me wrong.
