“We were excited to discover that Ford had charging stations. I'd read that they might not take credit cards, so I downloaded the Shell app that was supported. I couldn't get my account set up, though, because it wouldn't recognize the authorization code. We decided to try charging with a credit card. We were hopeful because the station had a card reader and instructions for cards. We tried several times, but we kept getting authorization error. We tried multiple cards but still no luck. When we get home, I'll see if I can get customer service to sort out the Shell account setup. It would be great to have a non-Tesla fast-charging alternative to Electrify America. Nothing against EA.
