“This charger is hiding behind a Clarion hotel that seems like it’s falling apart. You won’t believe you’re in the right place but when you pull around the back of the hotel they are there and as of 5/30/26 they work. There’s no credit card reader, but the process to connect and pay on my phone was not too annoying. It didn’t make me install an app, although the sign said they had one. I am currently getting 88kWh, which is not stellar, but fast enough to be done by the time we’re done eating at the Steak and Shake down the street. There’s also a McDonald’s, Burger King, and Denny’s within walking distance if you’re not into the kind of place that sells “Bitcoin Burgers”. This wouldn’t be my first choice, but it’s a good backup for when you pull off the interstate and realize that the nearby Tesla Superchargers are only for Teslas.” — Mike Olson, 3 months ago
