What drivers have written
“FLO charging stations have been helpful for EV adoption over the years, but I really think the network now needs major upgrades to keep up with the number of electric vehicles on the road today. The biggest issue is charging speed. Many modern EVs now require well over 100 kW to properly benefit from DC fast charging, and even 50 kW chargers already felt slow 4–5 years ago. Today, with larger batteries and more EV on the road, those charging speeds are simply not practical anymore for long-distance travel. Another issue is the limited number of stations at many locations. It is frustrating to arrive and see only one charger available while multiple people are waiting to pay and charge. EV adoption has grown significantly, but the infrastructure in many places still feels designed for the much smaller number of EVs from years ago. I really hope FLO continues expanding and upgrading their network with: Faster chargers (150 kW+) More charging stalls per location Reduced wait times during busy hours The demand is clearly there, and improving speed and availability would make a huge difference for EV drivers.” — Siavash Rastegari, 3 months ago
“Tight parking spot and between non-charging parking stalls at a popular dog park and trailhead. I can foresee the occasional ICE blocking this spot. Lots of amenities nearby including a JJ Bean coffee shop.” — Tri Chiem, 5 years ago
“Too expensive — especially for such a slow charging station. $16 per hour is insane!” — Volodymyr Shkoliar, a year ago
