“Being that this is a brand new charging station, I didn't expect to run into any problems trying to charge here. I was headed north on I-5 and stopped at the EA in Sutherlin. When I arrived, all 4 chargers were being used. I was informed that there was a brand new EVgo station 12 miles away. I arrived here only to find out that 2 of the 4 chargers weren't in service. I tried using the 2 that were in service, but neither of them would start charging. I tried using the app as well as a credit card on the machine. The charger kept going through all the motions but wouldn't start charging. First time I've ever had a problem at an EVgo site. This is very disappointing, especially for the station to be brand new. I had to turn around & drive 12 miles back to Sutherlin and was able to charge with no problems.” — Jermaine Clarke, a year ago

“I charged my 2023 Kia Niro EV. Pros: the charging area has a roof. It’s at a truck stop, so there are lots of amenities. Cons: even though the chargers are very new, the user interface is confusing. It got stuck saying “processing “ so long I started over. Even on the second try the steps took much longer than other chargers I’ve used.
