“I think Flo J1772 free charging locations don’t like the Fiat 500e. I tried four of the chargers here (the 4 leftmost) and it was the exact same error reported by the another 500e driver on PlugShare. The stations all initiated with the app but then quit after 10 seconds. I also had the exact same experience in North London about 6 months ago with free Flo chargers at a Food Basics. At that time I called Flo and the CSR said the system showed my car charging, yet it clearly wasn’t the case on my end. Not going to waste 30 minutes on the phone again. To top it off, the car popped up a console warning: “service charging system.” Fortunately that cleared after turning off the car for a few minutes. So far… Otherwise I’ve often used Flo’s fast chargers across Southern Ontario, generally without problem, so not sure why these J1772 units won’t work.” — Ron S, a month ago
