“Charger worked great, once we got it going. Blink clains to be part of the Ford Blue Oval network. It is in the sense that Ford will point them out on the locator but it does NOT allow you to plug in and just take payment from my card registered with Ford. I had to download the Blink app, set up an account and register a credit card. And I should mention, I was at an actual Ford dealership and the chargers all say, "Ford Blue Oval network!" From what I have experienced with IONNA, EA, BP Pulse, EV Connect, Tesla and others, this is not a good solution. At the competitors' chargers, you plug in, the car and charger exchange hellos, charging starts and I get billed to my card registered with Ford. I do need extra apps. I don't even need to get my phone out. Assuming Blink is going to continue to operate this way, I will avoid them whenever possible when traveling.
