“Situated behind the closed Jo-Ann Fabrics, this EV charger provides stunning views of a sea of parked cars and a welcome refuge from the trappings of civilization. Despite residing near one of the busiest shopping centers in Olympia, there is no clear-cut path and no sidewalk to the actual Capitol Mall. “Faced an interesting, almost comical conundrum here as the mall's sprinkler system decided to vigorously douse me and the side of my vehicle exactly where the charger connects with the car after I plugged in. The charger then would not disconnect from the car after charging, forcing me to wide straddle a huge puddle of sprinkler water on the ground while attempting to force free the charger as I was getting soaked by the very persistent sprinkler head, wondering if I was about to get zapped in the process. Pretty funny now but at the time, not so much. Came twice when a charger was out of service. Houseless people were lingering about several times, and one was clearly inebriated but no one ever bothered me.
