“The Zeon Charging Station at Gem Park Hotel, Ooty was extremely helpful for us. When two other charging stations nearby places were not working and my car’s charge was almost empty, this charger was a real lifesaver. Although it is only a 30 kWh charger, it was in good working condition and did exactly what we needed at the right time. It truly relieved a lot of stress and tension during our trip. “This is to bring to notice below are issues faced at Gem park hotel Ooty location while charging The location of charger is inside gem Park hotel, which is a restricted place with parking issues within They close after 10pm for public and allowed only members of their hotel. They have two charges in the same parking lane which makes the second charger in accessible or they say not working and they avoid anyone using the second charger, and they allow only one car inside the gate for waiting for the next session. On demand the front desk member supported me to connect to the second charger, but the security is very rude and not able to understand customer problems. He simply denies and ask us to take out the car out of the gate. Even during the charge we do not have a resting place when it was raining and we were not allowed to sit inside the hotel reception area with family kids and parents. This makes us very uncomfortable and we had to either sit in the car or out in the sun or rain, I requested the hotel to remove the Zeon charger. If it is not for public as they mention it is only for their members who are at hotel. You need to discuss this with hotel members and come to conclusion or remove it I think Zeon has to remove from here and to add more charges at better public places where it is easily accessible 24 x 7 as it is a huge demand in Ooty with less number of fast charges. You should have more 30 60 or 90 kv charges, which is not available. Customers are struggling for low battery and high waiting period” — SYED IU, a year ago

“Pretty much the only active charger in and around Ooty. While the charger and location are very good, wait times to get your turn can be very annoying. The support staff at Gem Park do a good job of managing the sequence of cars that are waiting to be charged. This place (Ooty) badly needs more charging stations and Gem Park especially needs to add another fast charger with 40-50 kW capacity as 24kW is not sufficient for most cars in the market.” — Sheetal Shenoy, 2 years ago
