“Great location and I appreciate having EV charging available downtown, but the pricing needs to be reconsidered. A $10 hourly fee is outlandish for Level 2 charging and makes these chargers impractical to use. A useful amount of charge will take 2-4 hours and you can add more kWh at a supercharger for less money. $30 to add less than 30% is absurd when you can charge 10%-80% for less than $18 at Hy-Vee. I’d strongly encourage the station owner to charge per kWh, then add a reasonable hourly fee after a set amount of time. That encourages EV charging while still preventing people from leaving their cars plugged in and occupying a charger all day.” — Jay, a month ago
