What drivers have written
“It is right in the front of the building by the entrance. Looks like a safe well lit location even at night. Use the app, or the credit card reader on the unit. It maxed out at around 40kw, but that's still very good. Looks like 40kw is a hard cap it won't go above regardless of vehicle. It's pollution-free solar energy during the daytime so you can feel good about that! Contrary to what someone else in the review said, the app works great and you can add your credit card before you visit the unit. They even accept American Express! The best part is, as of May 2026 it is 28 cents per kilowatt! That's cheaper than all the other chargers in the immediate area! There are four plugins in total between two units. Two people can charge at the same time at each unit. It will split power if multiple people plug into them at the same time. The transformer that powers the units is only 75KVA, so realistically that means about 60 KW is shared between the 4 chargers. The touch screen is bright and easy to read even in direct sunlight. It ONLY has CCS1 connectors. No NACS! This is now one of my favorite stops for road trips as it is one of the only ways to get affordable, reliable, renewable energy at decent speeds. The only downside is there is absolutely nothing to do while waiting.” — Dustin Hinkle, 4 months ago
“An awesome solar powered charger, even better it’s free! I really like the Red E brand chargers, I have found they have nice large bright touchscreens and are easy to read and navigate.” — Travis Lawell, a year ago
“Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I'm so tired of how disjointed, convoluted, ridiculous and expensive non-tesla chargers are. This station wasn't THE worst, but caps at 40kwh, if a car shares your station you both get half. The chargers themselves are finicky. Might equipment fault on you. Might not register connecting etc. I've had nothing but trouble driving a different EV. Tesla and only Tesla going forward. If you have a non-tesla, pay the 12.99, download the app for cheaper more convenient charging.” — Jonathan Xero, 8 months ago
