“Easy successful charge. Uses the Evconnect app. When I first got my chevy bolt I had issues with working some charging stations and would end up having my card authorized multiple times before I could get it to charge. Now you do get the money refunded like the next day but it can be a problem if your bank account has limited funds. Heres what I do step by step to get it charging on the first try: Pull up to charger, leave car running. Check the display panel on the charging station . If you see a red X or checkmark anywhere on it do not attempt to use. It wont work but may still authorize your card anyway. If all is good on then open your evconnect app and hit begin charge The next screen will have an option to scan the qr code for the station or manually enter. Both ways work the same. Select your still number. 1 is on yhe left 2 is on the right. Hit start charge. You can update payment methods at this step. Do not hit any buttons on the charging station. This will stop the charge.
