What drivers have written

“3/03/2025: app and online say there's a charger available, but only three of the chargers are working. So, at this point, if your app says one charger is available, it may not be. See latest photo. 1/14/25: twice in the last couple weeks: no wait both times, and both times I had preconditioned my battery, and both times topped out at ~175 or less with the "Charging power limited by station" message. 7/10/24 update: again 2 of the chargers are down. #3 kept giving error messages, I had to plug and unplug four times before it finally began charging. Charging is very slow, right now at 81 KW. (OP) Of 4 chargers only 2 are operational. Too bad because this is a convenient location with good visibility. Thanks to the very helpful young woman who have me the heads up; she'd already tried them and steered me to the other one that was working. Good thing no one else was waiting. Addendum: Started out at a nice healthy 179kW, but after not long, see 3rd photo "Charging power limited by station" 馃え馃槫” — Duane McWaine, a year ago

“Got there at 8:30 in the morning. Charging price was $0.64 per kilowatt hour, maximum charging speed 64 KW for my Fiat 500e. Took 25.5 KW hours and 30 minutes to charge up to 80%. Criticisms number one. The price per kilowatt hour is way too high. Number two. The location doesn't have any sort of painted parking lot lines to indicate where a line should form it's completely disorganized so people park anywhere and it's a PITA to try to figure out who is next in line. Number three. There's only four chargers and a lot of shoppers needing to be powered up! Which is probably keeping the price high with supply and demand? Number four. There's no shopping basket return area nearby so they pile up around the chargers getting in the way and when there's wind, there's a danger of them hitting your car. Number five. There are no shaded parking spots which becomes a real issue in the summer. The positives were all chargers were working and I got lucky that I didn't have to wait very long for a spot. Friendly conversation with a person charging next to me that made the time spent enjoyable.” — Brett Atencio, a year ago

“A new visit another horrible customer service experience. Quite a wait...as One charger down which has been reported and per usual Electrify America has no sense of urgency to put it back online. Typical call center in the Philippines where no help is provided but attitude is abundant. Just lots of excuses and no trouble shooting and zero empathy. All 4 new chargers seem to be installed yet all 4 showing "charger unavailable". 4 of 4 chargers (100%) are intentionally not working for weeks. I called EA weeks ago, and by their estimate, 3 weeks is a perfectly normal time period for the chargers to be down. I was literally told to "park my car in the meantime". Visited 7/15/24 One charger working (slowly at 75kW) and three out of service. Predictably a long line for the one working charger. Charger # 4 has been down since June 19th (26 days). I didn't think it possible but EA is getting worse. One particular charger # 4 It appears that 2 out of 4 chargers are nearly always broken. Electrify America per usual is not concerned that they have been down for weeks and months at a time. There is a often a que because two working (slow) chargers are obviously not enough to serve those area. The maintenance team at this location gets an F. During my first visit there multiple chargers not working. I was informed they had been down for 2 weeks...parts were on order, had arrived but the installation appointment had not been followed through. Not enough chargers in general. Electrify America doesn't maintain what few they have here. None are 350. Some are old 1st generation which means two charging cords but only one charger and no signage or instructions to inform you. I'm amazed at how poorly Electrify America operates. More EVs are being sold daily and Electrify America is already overwhelmed. Update stopped by on June 3, 2024 Service is as bad as ever. Two of the 4 chargers out of order (only one indicating such). Contacted Electrify America (which now seems outsourced to an offshore call center), and they were aware two of four charges were out of service and as always doing nothing about it for weeks. The two chargers that were operable were extremely slow. The one 150kW Charger was pushing 63kW and it took forever for that guy to charge. Two folks gave up and left. Electrify America's Suggestion was to use a competitor to charge my car as they may provide better service. My car manufacturer pays for charging...otherwise I would actively avoid Electrify America. I predict a company with zero disregard for customers will cease to exist in a few years. Update: Stopped by again and 2 out of 4 charging stations were down. I called Electrify America and they had been reported already and parts were ordered...which means they'll "get around to it eventually". I don't understand how a company can have such a lack of urgency in ensuring their equipment is functioning. I don't understand the business philosophy. Update I stopped by again today. Two of the four charges were down. I called Electrify America and they were aware of at least one charger being down. I had the representative reset the two machines and it didn't correct anything. Instead I waited about 30 minutes for one of the only two working chargers to free up. I plugged my car in for 30 minutes and ended up getting less than a 30% charge. The charge rate averaged 48kW instead of the posted 150kW. Update Things are as bad as ever here. Two of the chargers not working. One of two working stations...a "150 kW" chargers is charging at 39kW. Which is 82 minutes to go from 40% to 80%. It's mind boggling how consistently horrible Electrify America in general is and this charging station in particular is. Update. Stopped on June 11th 2 of 4 chargers working Update Stopped by again...only two working chargers and they were taken. 3 chargers showing as out of service...which had already been reported to EA. Per usual there were in no kind of hurry to repair them. One 150kW was only pushing 58kW.” — Kevin Carpenter, a year ago
