“This location has a 60 kW DC Fast Charger operated by JoulePoint, and I have used it twice for my MG Windsor EV. My experience with the actual charging performance was satisfactory, but getting the charging session started was not. On both occasions, I ended up spending nearly 35 minutes troubleshooting before the charger could begin charging. The JoulePoint app is not the most user-friendly, and first-time users may find the process confusing. A reasonable level of tech-savviness is required to navigate the app and initiate charging smoothly. Charging Performance: • 29 May 2026: 35% to 65% in approximately 1 hour • 30 May 2026: 56% to 100% in approximately 1.5 hours One of the issues during my visit was that the charger’s network subscription had expired, resulting in avoidable delays. That said, full marks to the Hyatt reception team, who were extremely courteous and proactive in arranging remote support from the JoulePoint team. Special appreciation to the security staff and maintenance team member Ganesh, who went above and beyond to help resolve the charger malfunction and ensure the charging session could proceed. Helpful tip for EV owners: After downloading the JoulePoint app, log in directly using your mobile number and OTP. Attempting to create a new account may result in a system error and unnecessary delays. Overall, a good EV charging location with supportive on-site staff, but the app experience and operational reliability need improvement. “This is within the hotel premises but publicly accessible after taking our details. Though it is 60kw charger, output is really slow. I think somewhere between 25-30kw only. You have to wait really long until unless you are just staying in that hotel. But I don’t see other near by charger at baga beach. So had to use it.
