“I generally use the FPL over the Tesla supercharger in PCB to charge my Rivian for 2 reasons. #1, there is a Lowe's and liquor store that you can walk to while you charge. The only thing at the Tesla SC is the Starbucks. #2, the FPL charger is only $0.30 / kwh. The major downside to this is speed. On my Rivian, I've never gotten above 130 kwh. The Tesla Supercharger is often faster. That being said, I've been able to charge her 100% of the times I've attempted, and I've always hit that ~130ish rate. The chargers are kind of hidden behind the bank. And I took away 1 star for charging speed. Still overall a good experience. Edit 5/23/26: I'm lowering these 2 stars. Why? Because it's 2026 and these are rated for 240 kwh, and I've never once gotten above 130kwh out of them on my Rivian. This is the same Rivian that gets 216kwh from most Tesla Superchargers. And is also plug and charge at Tesla SCs. And I don't have to deal with the stupid FPL app. Also, these chargers all have Chademo connectors, but not NACS connectors? Are you even trying FPL? You've got 4 chademo connectors here and zero NACS connectors?! NACS is now officially THE STANDARD, but you've got 4 connectors for a Leaf, which is one of the lowest volume vehicles on the road? It's been 2 or 3 years since everyone announced they were adopting NACS. Do better.” — David Criswell, 3 months ago
