“it did not work when tapping a credit card. You could not touch except they put a plastic screen over the touchscreen, so the touchscreen does not work. I tried with my charge point card. It also did not work. It has network errors. Then I tried by calling them, and it worked. However, the people in the area make it difficult to park here during events. “honestly it was such a relief to find this charger working, we almsot ran out of battery right before big sur so pulling up here felt like winning the loterry. the spot fels super clean and well maintained for something in the middle of nowhere and there were a couple other ev’s charging so it didnt feel sketchy or anything like some stations do. we plugged in and walked over to check out the view while it charged, it took about 40 minutes to get 80% which felt fine for a scenic break, the machines instructions were easy to follow even with my shitty phone signal. if youre driving down the coast this is definately a reliable place to stop, i wouldnt count on finding something better further down since theres not much out here. id use it again for sure” — Bahm Sealy, 2 months ago
