“Important Information for Non-Tesla EV Drivers I'm giving this location 5 stars so this review is more likely to be seen. As of June 27, 2026, these Tesla chargers are Tesla-only. If you drive a Ford Mustang Mach-E or another non-Tesla EV, your NACS adapter will NOT work here. When I passed through, the Electrify America station in Pecos was out of service, so plan accordingly. There is another charger at a local car dealership, but I didn't try it, so I can't confirm whether it's available to the public. For reference, I left Van Horn at 90%, skipped charging in Pecos after realizing these chargers were Tesla-only, and made it all the way to the Tesla Superchargers in Odessa with 9% battery remaining. I drove around 65–75 mph and had no issues making the trip. Hopefully this saves another non-Tesla EV driver some time and stress. Safe travels!” — Vida Rocha, 2 months ago
