What drivers have written
“**tl;dr: convenient location and easy to use but slow (49kW transmission speed)** **Convenience and Ease of Use: Great** Convenient location in target parking lot. Plugged up while on a roadtrip and walked to a restaurant a quarter mile away. You don't have to download the app to pay or use the charger. **Transmission Speed** I started the session with about 28% battery and only got to 68% after nearly 50 minutes. My vehicle accepts up to 200kW compared to the 49KW transmission rate during the charge. >> There wasn't anyone else plugged in when I began my session and when I returned there was only one other vehicle at the station. The charging looked slow the entire time I was monitoring remotely. After eating I ended up driving a little down the street to the IKEA parking lot to connect to a Tesla charger that went over 2x speed so I could finish charging quickly and be on my way.” — JoAnne Miranda, 2 months ago
“Easy to find, worked first try. Good chargers, hella simple to use. Download EVGO app and set up Autocharge+ so that you can just plug your car in and walk away, no need to deal with credit/debit cards or anything. Also, the EVGO app tells you which charging stations are available, which are busy, and which ones are offline. I really get disappointed when I see a place with low reviews simply because people never checked the EVGO app to see if these chargers were available, came here exactly once while these chargers were offline for maintenance, left a 1 star review, then never came back to see if they were fixed, and never updated their review. Now these people are driving around complaining about the lack of charging stations and constantly worried about their batteries even this whole thing could be so much simpler if they'd just check which chargers are available before just assuming you can just show up and charge anywhere on the planet. I don't know about you, but I find the extra frustration they've caused themselves to be rather funny.” — Darren Weber, a year ago
“These EVgo chargers are consistently down more than they’re up. It seems like every time I come here, the entire station (all 4 chargers) are under maintenance. For one of the closest stations near the airport, this is unacceptable. The downtime creates huge wait times for drivers who rely on these chargers to work efficiently. To make matters worse, the next closest EVgo location has also had two chargers down (one entire machine) for weeks, leaving only two available chargers within nearly a 20-mile radius. This creates unnecessary congestion and stress for drivers trying to do their jobs or make travel connections. It’s incredibly frustrating to see these issues go on for so long without consistent, reliable service. EVgo needs to prioritize maintenance and uptime at these key locations, especially those near high-traffic areas like the airport.” — Heather Slaughter, 10 months ago
