“If you're heading East/West, you'll want to stop here instead of Rocky Mount. Plymouth has fast, uncrowded superchargers (150kW), and they're well lit at night (along with the hotel parking lot). More importantly, it's just more comfortable here. The Holiday Inn Express is very welcoming of Tesla owners -- I was invited in to have free coffee (or oatmeal) and cookies and to sit down and watch TV inside where it was warm even though they knew I was not staying long. The hotel was orderly and clean, and so were the bathrooms (thank God!). Yes you can just walk in and help yourself, but I say do the polite thing and stop by the front desk to ask anyways (and pay a little more than you have to for a snack just as a way to say thanks). We represent a community of drivers to non-tesla owners after all, we might as well leave a good impression. Other nearby options include a Bojangles (next parking lot over) and Pizza Hut (across 64 and easily walkable when its not busy).” — GB Crush, 4 years ago
