“This Level 2 (7KW) charger saved me on a recent trip to Point Arena. It’s a bit of an EV desert along this portion of the coast, and the two chargers here were both working and available. I arrived at 6 AM, and hung around this funky little town for about four hours to bring my car back up to 80% to make sure I didn’t have any range anxiety for the rest of my trip. The site is open 24 hours a day, in a well lit parking lot that also has a public restroom. Make sure to check out Franny‘s cup and saucer bakery across the street, or pelican bread if you’re here on a Wednesday or Saturday which are the only two days they’re open.
