“FPL stations, which are the least expensive sites I’ve used at $0.30 per kW. This makes fast charging at or lower than most ICE cars. We have seen prices as high as $1 per kW. This is a great place to do a big charge. It says it’s a 50kW charger but the display said we got 62kW. Maybe it’s been upgraded. Highway chargers should be high speed chargers. There are Tesla chargers right next to the FPL CCS chargers. I like when the Tesla and CCS are not near each other making it easier to que when the chargers are full. The Port St. Lucie-Fort Pierce Service Plaza has 6 CCS chargers which are 350kW CCS and CHAdeMO. I hope Pompano gets some fast chargers in addition to the current chargers. We are lucky to have FPL being so forward thinking. They sell electrons so why not push EV charging. Every power company should do the same.” — Bill, a year ago
