“It was late at night when I charged up. Set back from the highway inside a car dealership, the two CCS1 charging stations stand in front of two parking spaces each. One station is at the glass front and the other is on the side of the building, each with two charging cables. No trash bins. No bathrooms. No snacks. No conveniences. I would have liked an opportunity with guess which one of the above four possibilities. I wouldn't want to walk anywhere nearby at night with no sidewalks and no welcoming destinations in sight. That said, the charger went straight up to about 150KW and stayed high (on a Ford F-150 Lightning Pro), which is not always the case with high speed DC fast chargers. Nobody was there. Nobody. A car was taking up the other charging space where I charged my pickup, but the car was for sale and not attached to the charging station. A blue, yokelish, lifted, spotlight, pickup truck briefly pulled up at the entrance to the outdoor lot, but didn't proceed. An aircraft circled overhead the entire length of my visit.
