“While travelling to Pune, I was looking for a reliable and easily accessible EV charging station for my car. After doing some Google research & reading positive reviews, I decided to try the Gilda EV Charger. The charger is located in the basement of Hyatt Regency Hotel on Nagar Road. As you enter the hotel premises, continue driving past the hotel pickup/drop-off area. Just before the hotel exit, there’s a narrow ramp leading down to the basement, which can be easy to miss, so drive slowly. You can also ask the valet staff or security guards for directions and they guide you properly. There are two charging towers placed right next to each other, offering a total of 4 charging ports. During my visit, all ports were functioning perfectly. Each tower has 2 fast-charging ports with up to 60 kW charging speed. However, keep in mind that you’ll get the full 60 kW only if a single car is connected to that tower. If another car starts charging on the same tower, the speed drops to 30 kW per vehicle. The payment process is very simple & QR-based. You pay approximately ₹1500 for 60 minutes via GPay or similar UPI apps, & once charging is completed, the unused balance is refunded immediately. The charging area and the entire parking space are extremely clean and well-maintained (as expected from Hyatt’s basement parking.) If you’re unfamiliar with the city & want an easily accessible, reliable, and premium EV charging station in Pune, this is definitely a great option to choose.” — Ankit Meshram, 4 months ago
