“I’ll start by saying, I used it but not was it available for public use or not. I’m from out of town, I drove in that night a because I was late I didn’t stop a charge in Louisville. I arrived in town at a very low state of charge (less than 20 miles) thinking I would charge at Fort Knox DC, come to find out it was on base not available to the public. Now I’m down to 11 miles. After driving to the McDonald’s across that has a level 2, but couldn’t be accessed. Plug Share show this one. It was after midnight, and the charger was right out on the front side of the lot. Now I’m down to 5 miles and the closest DC was 12 miles away. Pulled out my Blink app, plugged up and used it successfully @ $0.39/kwh + $0.49 Start Fee. It’s slow as hell but it got me 2 - 7 percent in 27 minutes. But all I needed was to get enough to get to 1 of 2 of the only to DC chargers in the area. So it was a life saver for me. Sad part is, there’s only 2 DC chargers in this area and both are Tesla. No CCS1 chargers at all in this area. PS; I’m not sure if it’s available for public use. It didn’t show on Plug Share as a dealership, and have my Plug Share set up to avoid dealerships.” — bakerland111, a year ago
