“recently used a BPCL EV charging station and was disappointed with the overall experience. While the company promotes its EV charging network as reliable and convenient, the actual service fell short of expectations. The charging station I visited was difficult to locate due to inadequate signage, and the information available on the app did not accurately reflect the charger’s status. Upon arrival, one of the charging units was out of service, and the remaining charger was occupied. There was no clear indication of waiting times or charger availability. After finally connecting my vehicle, the charging speed was significantly lower than advertised, resulting in a much longer charging session than planned. This caused unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Customer support was also not very helpful. Attempts to contact the support team resulted in long wait times, and the responses provided did not effectively resolve the issues. Additionally, the charging area lacked basic amenities such as seating, shelter, and proper lighting, making the experience uncomfortable, especially during extended charging sessions. As EV adoption continues to grow, charging infrastructure must be dependable and user-friendly. BPCL has the potential to provide a strong charging network, but improvements in maintenance, real-time information accuracy, customer support, and charging reliability are needed to meet customer expectations.
