“I called up Flo, and they told me that the charging stations here were apparently put out of service intentionally. I've been given the runaround as to who the owners actually are (walmart, Canadian Tire, and the gas bar are all pointing fingers at each other), but as soon as I find out I'm going to leave them a scathing review. There's a total lack of charging infrastructure in between Renfrew and Ottawa, and to go out of the way to disable what little there is seems malicious. “The FLO charging station has been ‘out of service’ for nearly a week now, and this is simply unacceptable. People rely on these stations to plan their trips and stop with confidence, only to find a completely non-functional unit. You are incredibly quick and organized when it comes to charging people’s credit cards, but the same level of care is clearly not shown when it comes to actually providing the service.
