“Don't bother charging here whether you are a visitor of the hotel or not. The prices are obscene compared to almost every other charger in the area - level 2 or level 3. I don't know exactly who to blame for the pricing, whether it be the installer, the hotel management, or a third party parking provider, but don't give them your money here. $5/hour to start on a 7 kW max charger is ridiculous. During my week long stay at the hotel I didn't see a single person charge besides an i3 owner for around an hour (probably needed a short top up from the exceedingly small battery size). Paying nearly $1/kWh as a hotel guest already paying $13/night for parking in Richmond is just too expensive to justify unless I was desperate. Go to literally any public level 3 FLO/Chargepoint/Supercharger/etc and get topped up way faster and for 1/4 to 1/2 the price. Likewise, I can't imagine justifying $60 for an overnight charging session on top of the nightly parking fee anyway.
