“Blink was a huge disappointment, especially for our first experience driving an EV to the airport. The first day was seamless, our car charged fully and everything seemed fine. We planned to be gone for a week and expected the charger to maintain the charge while we were away. Midway through our trip, I checked the app and discovered the charging had stopped entirely. Our car was already down to about 50 percent, with four more days before we return. I contacted ChargePoint support, and they were completely unhelpful. They couldn’t tell me why the charging stopped, couldn’t restart it remotely, and said Salt Lake City airport employees are not allowed to touch or troubleshoot the chargers. Essentially, there was nothing they could or would do. Now we’re returning to a car that may not even have enough charge to get us home without detouring to a supercharger, which is the last thing you want after a long flight. This experience completely defeats the purpose of trusting airport EV charging. For a company that positions itself as a reliable charging solution, this was frustrating, stressful, and unacceptable.
