“I’m new to electric vehicles, I drive a Silverado for work and took it to a conference in San Luis Obispo from El Cerrito, it’s a couple hundred miles but the truck made it but would need a charge to make the trip back. Work has EVGo which showed one charge station located behind some stores next to some sketchy RV, but every charging station was out of order. First time for me trying to figure out what to do, so after a google search I saw ChargePoint was an option so I found a location and went there. It’s located next to a nice YMCA building, a park, a short walk from a pool and playground. Beautiful area, you can actually enjoy the area while your vehicle charges. The stations all work, they’re maintained or new, can’t tell, but what a fantastic experience. I do wish they charged a little faster, but with the equipment working so well, the area being beautiful, it’s a minor gripe. “This place is cool and usually at least 3 out of 4 are online and work. The problem is that if you come on a weekend, people are parked there even if the are not charging or are not even electric and they do not care. As I’m sitting here charging I hear them come out of the car so I don’t care.
