“One of the first destination charging stations, with Tesla V4, Chademo and CCS chargers, a car wash, lounge with wi-fi, a mini-Gelson's market with a wide selection of food, drinks, snacks and sundry items. Unlike most stations, there are trash cans and water with squeegees by the dispensers, as well as a few free car vacuums. Staff is there during the day to assist- great for new EV owners- and staff is there 24/7 for security. My new favorite charging station, if it wasn't so far away. Besides the Santa Ana location, a Costa Mesa station will open in early 2026 and other sites are planned for Torrance, Corona and more. “I live in Irvine, and every charging station is always crowded. It’s actually worth the drive to Santa Ana to charge my car. I love the convenience of the charging stations the clean restrooms are a bonus, and Gelson’s is perfect for grabbing a snack.
