“It's virtually the only Electrify America charging station in the Santa Barbara area. So it's usually very busy. What's more there are usually one or more of the chargers inoperable. We spoke to a technician who was presently on the site and he said they're not even any technicians in the area to repair them. So he had to drive 3 hours up from Ontario to do his work. It seems to me Electrify America is missing a big business opportunity. If they could hire technicians to keep these working then all the people that get free Electrify America charging with their new cars would become accustomed to using their sites. Then when their free charging expires they might be more likely to continue using Electrify America instead of switching to some other company. Today the charger is performing well It began at 180 kilowatts per hour and eventually dropped to about 83.
