“If you’re looking for one of the best EV charging stops along the way, the Tesla Superchargers at Hotel Mission de Oro are worth the visit all by themselves. There are plenty of charging stalls available for both Tesla and Rivian drivers, making it easy to charge without the usual wait. What really sets this location apart, though, is everything you can do while your vehicle is charging. Take a stroll through the beautifully maintained grounds, stretch your legs around the property, and enjoy the peaceful landscaping that gives the entire place a relaxing, resort like feel. Be sure to visit the greenhouse, which is a unique and charming feature you don’t often find at a charging stop. If you have time, stop by the cocktail bar for a drink or enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The staff and ownership clearly take pride in maintaining the property, and it shows in every detail.This is far more than just a charging station, it’s a destination. Hotel Mission de Oro deserves recognition for creating such a welcoming, beautiful, and enjoyable experience for travelers. One of my favorite charging stops in California. PS- if you visit, just make sure to be respectful and responsible. Clean up after yourself if you end up using the facilities as if it was own home.
