“Right off the bat, the white letters right on the screen that was cracked from some other user felt odd. I almost turned around but figuered I’d give it a shot anyway since I was almost empty. It popped right in with my phone on the first try, no fussing with the app or restarting anything. The speed was actually pretty good, I had enough range to run into town without that anxiety creeping in. It was a little tough to pull off the side of the road, but the spot was open and clear. “Update and clarification There are two stations at this location. One is adjacent to Starbucks. One is in front of Penny ice cream ... The penny ice cream station is the one damaged in my photo . I just spoke with chargepoint on the telephone and apparently the station is owned by the property owners not by chargepoint . It's it's a property owners responsibility to maintain the station and keep it repaired . Station has been in poor condition for some time . Chargepoint says they will contact the owner of the property and station. Two cable charging station. One of the two is down. The screen is opaque from sun. Damage. Filed several tickets with customer service. No response. Minimum $5 charge is now gone. I've been able to do 20% charging for about $2 to $3. “This station is essentially non-functional. The display is damaged, one plug does not work, and the locking clip is broken. I filed a problem report with ChargePoint who contacted the owner (Hanger Skypark). They replied that the owner has declined to repair the station and closed the case with no further action to be taken.
