“EVGo Charging Great BUT the App – Needs Significant Improvement The app has several issues that made my charging session frustrating and difficult to manage. First, the app reported a charge level of 71% while both the charger screen and my car independently showed 80%+. The app then got stuck at that incorrect value, leaving me with no reliable way to monitor progress. Second, after navigating away from the charging screen, there was no way to return to it. When I contacted in-app support for help, the chatbot provided incorrect instructions — not a great experience when you're mid-session and need answers quickly. Finally, the app provides no real-time cost estimate during charging. You only see the total roughly a minute after the session ends, making it impossible to budget or make informed decisions mid-charge.
