What drivers have written
“This was my first time using a ChargePoint charger. The app and display on charger are less intuitive than Electrify America or Tesla. I had difficulty identifying which charger I was at. I had to choose in the app between DC1 and DC2 with no corresponding labels on the charger. They are labeled Port 1A/1B/2A/2B so I eventually figured out that 1A/1B are DC1 but it could be more clear. I plugged in to 1B and could not get it to work. Switched to 1A and that did work. Once working it got up to 240 kW which is as fast as my car can receive. The pricing is confusing. Instead of just giving you a $/kWh like every other charger, it tells you typical pricing of $38.71 per 15 minutes. I was charged $13.52 for 26.149 kWh which is $0.52/kWh. The typical pricing is close to what it would be if you were able to charge at the max 320 kW speed the charger is rated at, which I don't think any current EV can. There is one display for each set of 2 chargers. I assume that both cables at each display can be used simultaneously but I anticipate issues with people not understanding how to use it and accidentally terminating someone else's charge. The bathrooms in the Love's were clean. There's a Subway and lot of typical gas station food options. While I eventually figured it out the whole experience was needlessly complicated. I've owned an EV for 3 years and have used several different chargers. I think a new EV owner would be even more frustrated.” — James Knibloe, 11 months ago
“Charging connector was kind of heavy and clunky and only yet about 80 KW with one other vehicle charging” — Gerry Grose, 2 months ago
