“6 out of 10 stalls were blocked by gas cars. The signs say “45-minute free parking,” and I have no idea how that’s supposed to make sense. We waited 20 minutes before someone finally moved. “Newest / fastest chargers but wasted in spaces that permit non-electric, general parking for 45 minutes. It's a busy shopping center with lots of stores, anchored by Trader Joe's, so there's always competition for spaces. My Tesla console indicated 7/12 open spaces but there were actually none. About half the spaces were taken by non-electrics. The other issues are 1) the lack of space for electrics to wait. You're blocking the lanes of cars from entering / exiting spaces or from readily driving thru lanes, 2) other cars can wait in other lanes, making it difficult to establish a clear, orderly wait.” — Chi Yu, 4 months ago
